Back in Big MO

Tuesday, February 28th, 2006

So I caught a flight the day after I was dropped out of the Tour of CA to head not so straight back to Springfield, MO.  Well after 4 different airport I finall made it home 12hrs later.  I am glad to be back home…well I did not want to come home because of the circumstances with the Tour, but that is just the way it is.  Actually I think getting dropped actually saved the rest of this season for me, because I had a sore spot that was soooo bad that it might have needed medical attention.  OUCH!
Hanging with my woman Melissa and few friends is good for me, as I will not be able to see any of them for the next 2.5 months or so.
Looking forward at getting back in to the races soon.
Tour of Normandie!  ya that is right!  From one insane stage race to another.

So I had a horriable day, nearly dropped in the neutral roll out, dropped on the first hill….that was not even categorized….and chased from then on, only to be pulled at the first feed zone with-in the first 100km.
Thanks for checking in on me.

pain

Monday, February 20th, 2006

oh the pain, I suffered like a fat kid on the climbs today. Only to BLOW my chances in the final 600 meters. The patented Brad Huff Hell Mary was sent from 15 guys deap when I should have followed a little move from Alex Candy. blah blah screwed my real chances today. I really feel confident that I could have been in the top 2 if could a, should a, would a.
Tomorrow I will do my best to just survive….well actually I am doing my best to just survive every day.
To bad butthead was not here, he could have lead me out to the win!
