Oh the Altitude Valley?
So Friedman and I have had a crazy life over the past few weeks. Now it has settled down just a tad as we have both moved out to Colorado Springs, CO. But the only bad thing is that we raced in the Independence Gran Prix 4 days after getting to altitude, if you do not know this is when your body is going through some major physiological changes and you simple feel like poo poo. Some how I won the points (Danny Pate SUPER close 2nd) and Friedman won the Scratch. All three of us (The Pate included) felt horriable in both races, I though that we were going to have to take Friedman to the hospital after the morning race as he lay on the ground crying? The Friedman such a hard racer, but a tender soul.
I wish 650 and his gang was here, along with Uber Aero Dude….then we would have really had some good racing…..not saying that we didn’t.
Funny story about my little brother…..he was floating on some river down in Arkansas and the Conservation agent made him and his whole crew pour out nearly 200 cans of beer because they were all under age……WOW that is alot of beer.

Life at 5k feet can be rough after weeks of sea level but I’ll take it any chance I get.
