as for me….well Friedman and I were out attacking like made men on the Saturday Group ride. Although Friedman showed his true selfish colors and did not follow suit on one of my last attacks, so the group came back together and he lost the World Championship Mailbox Sprint. LAME!
My best buddy Clay Worthington rode himself so far into the ground that his face was still bright red after we had stopped to get more fluid at a local 7-11. Then a track sprinter dropped him as they both limped back home. Clay told me that Friedman was like a kid in a candy story at the start of the ride…..”Oh Clay we have to attack, when can we attack, come on Clay lets attack”….Clay tells Mike “not yet wait until we turn right”…..Mike: “oh man this is going to be great, come on Clay lets think of something funny to yell, ?Ya suckers? or ?suck on this suckers? or ?suckers? or”…..Clay said he just keep on coming up with crazy phrases that he could not even understand. Then 30 seconds after we turned right Friedman and Clay put down a sweet attack, while Friedman was all over his bike/like it was a one wheeled wooble well….”YA SUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!” The sweet thing is that none of the normal group riders new what to think of this, so they got a nice gap quite quickly. Clay is still laughing about Friedman’s attack tactics.
