Ashley Burchfield is helping me get my lame fish in….just a “Jack”, to be honest I have no idea what a Jack fish is, but I caught on, the bad thing is that we were not fishing for Jack, but I caught one.  Plus it did not help that I had no clue how to fly fish, so they put me on a spinner rod and deemed me “Crab Boy” because that is mainly what I fished with……

So both Friedman and I have 4 weeks totally off the bike for some reason. 1 because we just survived to most insane racing season either of us have ever done, 2 because we can, 3 because we both had…..saddle sore surgery. Yep Saddle Sore Surgery, on top of the laser hair removal we have endured. This insane season has created one constant besides the overall fatigue…..destroyed taints. Somehow Friedman and I have really been hit hard down there……oh wait that was JV kicking us in the balls each week and telling us to quite being such pussys…..that is right….So Mike had his mangina created on october 9 and I was on oct 11. Well Friedman had so much estrogen flowing through his body that his stitches blew because I guess his body was rejecting the thought of letting his newly acquired mangina be sealed back up forever? I on the other hand have had better luck….well luck in the fact that I am not boarderline hermaphrodite, but bad luck in the fact that I passed out during surgery…once when the surgery was nearly over (I think that I did not eat enough prior to and the smell of burning flesh just got to me…just a thought?), then when I was attempting to leave I passed out in the elevator, luckily my friend Rachel was there to save me. So it is over a week since then, Mike and I are healing up quite well, and we are enjoying our time off.
My first year as a professional rider has been over the top in every possiable way!
oh ya, I witnessed Friedman’s surgery and he has pictures to prove it!

more to come on current issues, but I just wanted to let you know that I have just completed my first full season as a PRO Rider and it is amazing that I am still alive.

So the track is inflicting its painful sting quite well and I am barely staying afloat. The last 4 days of competition will be some of the shortest but most intense. Luckily we are having fun and making it quite interesting. Friedman could sweep every event he enters, so we will just have to wait and find out.

So we are ending where we started this year…..Track.  The most painful way to start ones season and the worst way to finish it.  At the beginning of the season one has the motivation to train hard, but the lack of racing miles makes the red hot intensity of the track sting just a bit more than one needs.  Doing Death Con 3 intervals at X-Mas does not really seem like too much of a present.  Then at the end of the season, all one whats to do is sit around eating Sundaes with Chocolate, Oreos, and Nuts on top (Friedman?), but instead we have to drag ourselves around in circles until we drop dead or until Friedman either a)pukes up his sundae? b)sets a world record c)ripps another riders nipple off d)takes 650 out back for indian leg wrestling contest?
Track Track Track oh how I love thee……yes CREED I LOVE TRACK are you happy I said it I LOVE TRACK almost as much as I love you……….ahhhhhhhh.
