kicken it in my new team van…from LA to Boulder, although I only made it to Golden, CO because of the freak blizzard that hit the front range. 34.5inches in Golden!
This is I-70 coming out of the mountains down to the Denver area, but I never made it. I was driving about 30 mph, which as pretty much max in a 2-wheel drive Turbo Deisel Sprinter.
Then I got stuck 10 feet from Ian MacGregor house.
ya it snowed this much

What an adventure you had! And with your ‘gas tank’ empty! I shared the post with the group over at Martin Dugard’s blog site. I talk about you, trying to remind them , that you are my hometown hero, and one of the commenters (a cycling geek named Stephen) is in Colorado. So I had to play show and tell, and show them your scary pics of a blizzard!
