track track track…

Just arrived in Manchester for the 4th and final Track World Cup. I am quite nervous about the race, 1 because it is our last hope in solidifing a spot for worlds, 2 because my IT band exploded on a training ride before leaving Gerona?
If all things are go then I hope to have a good performance here in the land of Mr. World Record….Chris Boardman that is.

From Tulsa…. errr… England… wish I could come watch. My girl Charlotte and I bought a cottage 1.5 hours northeast of Manchester on the edge of the Moors national park. I’m back here in the U.S. for a few more days sorting out my permanent visa to live and work in England. Anyhow, going to L.A. to sort it all out and catch the end of the tour. Looks like your boys are representing. Looks like I’ll be tipping a few with Marshall Trucking soon. Chad keeps me up here and there with where you’re racing. I hear you may go to the big show. Look for me in the forest… if you can see straight. If you ever need some good R & R while in Europe, look me up. The road riding where I live is the best in the country.

    Cheers,

    Josh

Brad, this is your madison partner talking to you. Phucking RELAX man, and kill it. Those guys can’t beat you in a road sprint, all you have to do is position, follow, and then sprint. In fact more than half you have raced on the road and beaten. Obviously this doesn’t necessarily mean anything, but believe in yourself damnit. If you’re feeling like super enduro then maybe take a lap, but do it quickly. Don’t do any of your tempo off the front crap. Remember we would have been 5th in the Worlds last year if we had gotten our lap back. I know you’re riding with Bobby, just use him for what he’s good for…his tactics about positioning are good, his leg speed is good for sprints, but WATCH out for the end. If he does more than two sprints he will be tired. He will probably tell you the same thing.

DAMN I WiSH I WAS THERE FOR YA BUDDY. I ALSO WISH I WAS AT THE TOC, because the guys are kicking ass and taking lots of names man.
