What a cool bike. And, really, I love the pink rug! I didn’t realize Fair Grove had a hotel.
Is that Doug Greek I see in that group photo? Am I going to get to see all these guys in Downers Grove in August?

That is my great uncle’s old 1896 Sylph made in Peoria, Ill. It has its original Trogden leather saddle, wooden wheel rims, and cork handlegrips. It was made by the Duryea bros just as they started building the 1st production automobiles in the U.S. Their 2nd prototype won America’s 1st motor race from Chicago to Evanston on Thanksgiving day in 1895…DRM
