Well pretty much Amber Greek was able to get Mike Mertz upgraded from a cat 4 to a cat 3 with just 2 race results, then we talk Mike in to racing in the Pro/1/2/3 crit in STL Sunday, he gets in to the break with me, Mike Mertz WINS!

Yes Cale Mac is growing a Molestache and yes that is a poster of yours truly as the local Spandex Hero for Tour of Missouri.

I have got some the best supports in the Ozarks of Missouri and feel really blessed to have them.
I was totally Midwest for the past year, but I had to get rid of it….sorry Mom for the bad pic of you, but this one shows your work the best!

Tonight was the Wednesday Night Piss and Vinegar contest. I think that we all cracked about 3 times during the night, helped each other get back in to the group several times, and did our best to hold on while this cat 4 or 3 guy Joe laid waste to us. But best off all I totally cracked the immortal Mike Mertz armor tonight! He still came back and did the same to me, but I got him! by the way Mike Mertz is faster than Creed, but not as handsome. By the way I am shelled.

Back home in the little big city of Springfield, MO is quite interesting as nothing has really changed, but I am totally able to see the rest of the nation’s styles slowly creeping in. Although it will take another few years for them to take effect. I am having a great time riding with all my friends, I went on a 3 hr ride two days in a row and did not even feel like I had barely left the house. I love riding the roads around here, as they are SOME OF THE GREATEST IN THE COUNTRY! Hopefully Mike Mertz does not totally destroy me as I start up some serious training to prep myself for the big things to come later this season!

Latest news on the home front, my youngest brother is keeping up with the fact that he defintely has the biggest….truck in the family.

That she is going to fit in just fine around my family!
Hanging out with my family for the past few days has been great. I am really happy I have the chance to come back home to get some quality family time and extra good quality training time!

Getting dropped again. I am not super sick, but the virus has totally taken every bit of deep down effort energy out of my legs, when I attempt to get on it I just feel emptiness. Sweet huh. Well today was the first day of Tour de Beauce, Friedman and I both were dropped like rocks. For the first time in my career I had to stop and take a #2 on the side of the road, then after suffering to just get back on to the group after my side of the road effort, Friedman and I were both dropped shortly after. Then Friedman puked all over the side of the road, what a great day for he and I!

felt sick day prior, couldn’t really eat, on the rivet from the start, fully dropped 4th time up the wall, sweet race for me! But for my team they killed it, they were in some huge moves and did some major efforts that effected the outcome of the race for sure…those guys are amazing!
By the way I did not finish Philly, I was dropped completely 80km in to the 250km day, I do not know why Cyclingnews has me as finishing?

Philly is now know as the National B Professional Road Championship Race.
Hopefully it will be better for me this year?  Last year I handed out water bottle in the feed zone and this year I will be getting fed bottles!

So the big show is in just two days oh I hope my legs are ready for this one!
Good thing I dragged myself up and down “THE WALL” in Menomonee Falls more times than I can remember….10, 14, 8, 11 to be exact. Hopefully that will help me get through it, plus suffering like Mike Friedman when Wawas runs out of Meatball Hoagies…..oh a painful sight!

I need a hair cut. Hopefully Levi is still open back in the Grove?
