It was my first time announcing and I admit that I got carried away with the National Champ thing. I kept looking at the racer list and seeing Mike's name. I saw he was a cat 3 and kept thinking he would get dropped any time. Toward the end I saw that he was going to make it to the end. Mike's ride was truly awesome. I tried to say his name a lot toward the end. He totally deserved the win. Nice job Mike Mertz, Mike Mertz, Mike Mertz. 2007 Webster Grove Crit Pro 1/2/3 champ! Brad, I was the announcer at the race.
