Alex was off his bike and being tended to, but someone put his bike on the gaurdrail to get it out of the way. When our chase group came through the turn and the cars were still in the road in addition to people lying in the road my group fanned out. I was behind and to the outside of a Fiordifruitta rider who swung to the right which consequently pushed me into the gravel, onto my head and into Alex's bike and under the gaurdrail -- all of which happened going 40mph in the span of 2 seconds. I was knocked out for a bit, but the paramedics had to cut pieces of Alex's bike off of me to get me up. I have slice marks on my left leg from the bladed spokes of his wheels. I hope he's doing ok and that there's no hard feelings. I don't remember seeing him, or much of anything there. It was a freak accident that I hope never happens again to either of us.
