Charlotte tail gun’n
So the Slipstream Crit squad headed down to Charlotte, NC….wait a second Slipstream does not have a crit squad…well anyways Friedman and Craig Lewis did most of the work of showing face in the race while I tail gunned the race, although I will say that I am not near as amazing at tail gun’n as The Pate is. So luckily I was able to hang in there and avoid the major gap split…except for one and the guy that did it for sure knows that I was not happy about it. Friedman and Lewis helped to guard the front and help to string out the group a few times….actually little Lewis had the whole group on the rivet for nearly 2 full laps….I think that he was just showing off for his wife to be Courtney?
all in all Friedman blew is front wheel in the final 3 laps, Lewis had to pull out because of being involved in an early crash, and I attempted to jump early in the sprint only to be swallowed whole by the group.
I am VERY happy with finishing the race and my body was so much more in lined after working with the Bicycle Ranch in Scottsdale, AZ, Dr. Jon Porman, and Nat Koch @ Endurance Rehabilitation!!!! I pray that all this great work starts to solidify itself more and more as the miles start to pile up once again.
