Is Alan contemplating his navel and fixin’ to pole dance or is that the bat he uses to beat little grasshoppers into correct form?

It is certainly encouraging to see and know you are under the supervision of experts in their field. Who knows, you may be ? Let us just wait to know the rest of the story. GOD BLESS YOU and Be with you!!! Please, use proper caution as I know you do.

Ok, my mission here in DG is to have fun, see Brad or another Slipstream rider win! AND get as many of my Slipstream, teams cards autographed!! So far I have 2 autographs, besides Brad’s, Mike F. and Timmy Duggan! I’ve harrassed the mechanics on Team Slipstream, HealthNet-Maxxis, BMC, and Toyota-United. I got an autograph from Jen McRae with Advil-Chapstick. And I’ve checked out the race course in downtown Downer’s Grove! Pretty good day. I wish I’d brought my bike..:( I could have rode all over DG today, it’s beautiful!! At least for the next 18 hours, then the rain comes…..Brsd, I agree with Bilko, if something happens to you, I want Freidman to win, or Creed….is he here?? I guess I’ll find out!

Don’t forget to enjoy these moments… [yeah I know you are “working” - but you’ll not be a pro bike racer forever] some of them will be high points for you forever… knowing that, please grab ahold of all of it that you can. Be the leader I know you are and help those around you do the same.

GOD SPEED be with you, BRAD! I could not be more proud of YOU.

Time to skip being a grasshopper and become a fish!
August 19th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
Well, do you know what happens when you race a crit in the pouring rain??? Crashes!!! Poor Brad, crashed twice, and the last time was in the last turn coming into the sprint to the line! And Mike F, at the front for I don’t remember how many laps!, eventually, crashed, ripped his shorts, and was out of the race. Man, it was carnage out there!! But I was proud of Brad, and Team Slipstream!!!
