Fall Team Training Camp
quite a few of the Slipstream squad are here in Greenville, SC to help assist the all powerful Danny Pate to hopefully finally shut up all the doubters out there and help him to achieve what he deserves…US PRO Road Title! The good thing for all of us on the team is that it is like a fall team training camp and we get to catch up and see teammates that we haven’t seen since….oh let’s see???? the last week in January to be exact. We were out for nearly 6hrs, but only had just under 5 hrs of riding in, so we all were pretty fried by the end of it all….well except for Danny as he just twinkle toed his way around the group. This team has got some real horsepower to display on Saturday and Sunday, I just hope that luck is on our side.

Tell Creed to lay down some serious hurt in the TT and RR…..show JV that he should of been extended in ‘08. According to his blog, his back problems that have plagued him all year are finally behind him.

Oh, yes Creedfan!! I even hung out around the elevators at the hotel. Everyone was fair game, even the mechanics! And I had a nice visit with Tony Cruz after the Sat ProAm race, and I didn’t even scare him!!

Hope he lights it up this weekend and shows JV he made a mistake !
His back problems that have caused him such problems earlier this year appear to have been corrected and feels much better according to his Blog.

Brad, you are a gifted, awesome cyclist! And a great person, to boot. I will follow you (so to speak) anywhere you go. Rather it’s track and the Olympics; or sprinting and riding off the front for any team in America! You never know where life’s going to take you, but you are just getting starting, and you’ll always be in that special place in my heart….just want you to know, Huffy fans are for life!!!
