day 3 Do track bikes have brakes?
Because mine were on the whole time I was out there in the qualifying round. Needless to say I did not qualify for the final tonight. So my day 3 was over in less than 60 laps. Man that makes a guy feel extra spunky let me tell you. Actually it fucking cracks me when this shit happens. Ya there is always the excuse one can say, but I have seriously felt like shit over the past few weeks. Living the dream we say?
You know when you are having a great time when you almost wish some idiot would just give you an excuse on your ride of shame back to the sweet hotel. The pull a CaleMac on the typical American rushing to the red light ahead.
Well I have one more day of TRACK TRACK TRACK Nationals, hopefully my E-Brake will be removed off my legs and I might be able to redeem myself???

by the way MIKE FRIEDMAN WON because he is a bad ass and because MIKE CREED killed everyone with mind bullets…and his legs to take Friedman to victory.

Okay, rage works…but not directed at yourself. And, btw, this is the same Brad Huff who earned an automatic spot in the 2008 Talent Pool? I think you’ve got something to be proud of!! And from what I read, Taylor Phinney, may have beat you in the IP; but by 2 seconds! I’m still impressed! You just had a bad day. I don’t see anymore races listed for this year….tomorrow is the last day of racing for 2007, right?

Theresa - check World Cup track schedule and if we had our way, the euro Six day schedule… things are just getting started with a push to next August.

Man, bilko and Brad, finding track races, when you are used to the road race schedule is frustrating!! I thought I saw something later in Oct with the Madison. And I found a date for the World Cup in Australia at the end of Nov. Then something is in China around 12/9. I thought between the US cycling site, cyclingnews.com and fixedgearfever.com I’d be covered. The euro Six day schedule will be after the first of the year, right?
And, CONGRATULATIONS, MIKE FRIEDMAN!! The stars and stripes jersey will fit nicely. (except I’d hoped it was in Brad’s size…but he was winning medals last year when Mike couldn’t race!) So, I’m really proud!! Brad, you will have to tell him, since he doesn’t write on his blog anymore!! And, btw, I’ve got that man’s autograph!!!
