Long Team towards Beijing

So it was posted a few days ago that I was included with the super stars of USA Track…ie Friedman and Phinney. This is the Olympic Long team that includes Mike Friedman, Taylor Phinney, Colby Pearce, Bobby Lea, and your truly. I feel honored to be named to the Long Team Considering how poorly I have been performing over the last few months. The press release does not guarantee that I am on the REAL Olympic team, but it is start in the right direction.

Sometimes we don’t understand why things happen to us!
But, It is always a reason behind everything!
You just need to keep remind yourself that you won’t be on the top of your game every race! You are an amazing athlete, but you are not unbeatable! You will have ups and downs (like you don’t know that!:). The problem is that when we are at the bottom, we don’t get much support and the process hurts our soul! But, it is the time we growth the most!
Just go out there and have a lot fun!
If you feel like jumping in the sidewalk or breaking the sound barriers:)in the middle of a group ride, just do it! The most important thing, it is to enjoy the process! Every experience is a learning opportunity!
Have fun in Boulevard and get ready to get wet! The weather isn’t so good in California these last few weeks!
    Peace!
Ps. post some pictures from training camp! I can’t wait to see you swimming in Jelly Belly!!! :)

  12. Theresa Says:

Hey, Brad, I agree with Simi! Have you been to training camp yet with your new teammates??

I’m so proud of you, last year in track you were golden! They know you have it in you, THAT’S why you are on the LIST!! Kick some butt, and “harden the f*** up!”

  13. bilko Says:

t is funny! Wow. Too funny.

You are lucky to have such a fan club man… posting good vibes for you. Take them to heart.

  14. Panthera Leo Says:

Simi has some great points. Remember the hunger when you where younger, dont stray to far of the path, and remember the most IMPORTANT part the MAN has a plan!

  15. Jennifer S. Says:

You know what the Tao say - “a journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step.” You maybe not be exactly where you want to be all the time but you’re definately headed in the direction you want to go. Keeping you close to my heart. Best!

  16. Todd and Connor Says:

Connor will be so excited for you!!! We are all very proud of you. Connor loves to hear how your doing and still talks about the ride you guys took together.
