dumb jock
dumb jocks only become decrepit older dumber jocks if they never see the reality of life, training, and health. Taking the extra time to allow myself to really heal the right way is really hard. Most anyone that has ever had to stop doing what they love most, only to watch other leave you in there dust is really hard. Watching the reality of a dream slowly slip from ones fingertips is not easy pill to swallow. I do not have the towel in my hand, but I am just really frustrated with patience.
If you have not seen Chad Hartley’s exposa on Mike Friedman aka Meatball and his look a like brother Meatwad, please jet over to missing saddle and check it out.

I wish I tried hard enough to make a face.

Keep the faith. Winning every battle does not always mean that you still win the war.. and everyone knows that winning the war trumps it all.
Meatwad is funny in a silly kinda southpark way. I hope it makes you laugh at least. Hartley is good midwestern kid.

You must heal the right way, or your knee will never be good, and it will affect you every season. listen to bilko. When you look back in 15-20yrs, there will be other things that are great achievements among disappointments. Look to the future, Brad. I know that’s easier said than done.

So when are you gonna post your MAGAZINE AD for GT Bikes? Road Bike magazine… I think I saw it… maybe it blew by too fast… now if we could just a few of those autographed to give away at Marymoor during the racing season…

You know the cliche, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”? Well, that applies to being patient, too. I am convinced of it. Every doctor I’ve seen in the past 6 months has said the same thing, “You have to be patient. The brain can take years to heal.” What are they thinking? I am already old and decrepit–I can’t afford to be patient. You, however, have some “prime” years left and must allow your body the time it needs to heal completely. I think I understand your frustration. I’d rather suffer than learn to cope. If patience were easy, I guess it wouldn’t be a virtue.

Did I ever tell about the time when I was in Highschool gym class, which happened to be a coed swimming class, and I popped a woody after gawking at the group of popular hot chicks. Got caught by the medium popular girls, and then the popular girls as well as the medium and low end gals all laughed. It was awesome, let me tell you. That will be my next blog post I think. Ha, shit yeah, that is a good one.
