Tom Zirbel coming back from near death just like Friedman did with the blood condition. Tom is an amazing diesel that just will not give up. Speaking of not giving up….lets take a look at Mike Creed who was near pulling out due to horrible death plague conditions that riddled the TOC peloton only to come back like a made man this last day of the TOC.
Tom is so hot right now that I think every woman in Boulder should just throw themselves at him because he is a whole lot of man but a soft heart!
Creed well he is just so salty that only one person can handle him and well she has her hands full…..we all love Amy for turning the screws on Creed.

I am not going to be on the Tour of California team for Jelly Belly as my knee just is not right. The band-aid I have been using is long over used and I am no longer able to work through the injury. Ya just what I wanted, more difficulties. Well at least my hip is not cracked like poor Blake “Bones” Caldwell, this guy literally has the worst luck every year, my thoughts and prayers go out to him.

This is probably the most I have sweated in the last few weeks, but sadly it is all fake sweat for a Jelly Belly Sport Beans and GT photo shoot. As my body just is not happy with me currently.
If Mike Cody’s fat head was not in the way you would get a view of the Aussie’s in full giddy, I think Nic Sanderson has a perma Grin on his face, Matty Rice is always happy, and Arron is just happy to not be surrounded by yanks.
What can I say It is great to have Mike Lange around! Another note to all you available women out there, Mike is a mountain man that loves Pulp Fiction and target practice on cloudy days, plus much much more? Plus he is a bestest good friend of mine from way back!

riding today on some very memorable roads out here in the San Diego area….as we pedaled along a frontage road I tell Matty Rice that I swear I have ridden this particular road back in 1999 with John Howard, Steve Tarpinian, and a few others. I was right at this very road led us to Mount Palomar were I received one of my first ass kickings from an Elite Cyclist (John). The ride was great except for the fact that I felt horrible. I think I rode up the mountain faster back in 99′ than today?

So it was posted a few days ago that I was included with the super stars of USA Track…ie Friedman and Phinney. This is the Olympic Long team that includes Mike Friedman, Taylor Phinney, Colby Pearce, Bobby Lea, and your truly. I feel honored to be named to the Long Team Considering how poorly I have been performing over the last few months. The press release does not guarantee that I am on the REAL Olympic team, but it is start in the right direction.
